Life Coaching for Musicians

Everyone experiences occasional self doubt and lack of clarity, but when you work (or hope to work) in a highly competitive industry, those experiences can become immobilizing.

WHAT EXACTLY IS COACHING?

Life Coaching is for people who are interested in focusing on the present vs. the past, moving forward with CLEAR direction, and becoming the person/professional you’d like to be. Executive Coaching has been utilized in the corporate world with great success, and now these concepts are being applied to the rest of us who wish to achieve our full potential.

I offer 60-90 minute sessions, in person or via telephone, to professional and aspiring vocalists/musicians. Within the confidential, supportive, structured sessions you will have the opportunity to:

ü      Identify and resolve areas of resistance which have been preventing you from reaching your highest performance level.

ü      Clearly define your dreams and goals, and create a workable plan for achieving these.

ü      Learn ways to balance your creative needs with the other priorities in your life.

WHO REALLY USES SERVICES LIKE THIS?

If you are experiencing any of the following, you might wish to consider a professional coach:

ü      Lack of confidence

ü      Performance anxiety

ü      Cynicism, disillusionment

ü      Writers block

ü      Lack of connection with the music or your audience

ü      Frequent physical complaints (headaches, stomachaches, muscle tension)

ü      Lack of career direction/ “stuck” career

ü      Tensions with colleagues/band mates

Personally, I have worked with clients at all levels. Recent clients have included: students who were seeking to enter college as performance/music majors, aspiring singers/songwriters feeling beaten down by the hard work and competition, established musicians experiencing career dissatisfaction, and band members seeking to eliminate tensions and return to creating.

WHAT IF I’M UNSURE?

I am available to answer your questions in a 10 minute phone consultation to determine readiness and appropriateness for services. For Free!
